What is your claim liability policy?

Our services operate under limited liability, in line with international express courier standards. Compensation is provided only in the event of proven loss or damage caused during transit by our service partners or handling agents.

Key Claim Terms:

  1. Timeframe to Report
    • Claims must be filed within 5 calendar days from the date of delivery or expected delivery (for lost shipments).
    • Claims raised beyond this period may not be accepted as per carrier policy.

  2. Eligibility
    • Only the Sender or  Receiver can initiate the claim.
    • Valid Garudavega tracking number and supporting documents (invoice, photos, damage proof) are required.

  3. Liability Coverage
    • The standard liability is limited to the declared shipment value (excluding duties/taxes).
    • We highly recommend third-party insurance for high-value shipments.
    • All Fragile Items shipped customers own risk.

  4. Exclusions
    Claims are not accepted in the following cases:
    • Improper packaging or handling by sender
    • Shipment of prohibited/restricted items
    • Delays due to customs, force majeure, or incorrect consignee details
    • Destroyed by destination customs due to any reason
    • Perishable Food items 
    • Fragile Items
    • Claims filed after the deadline

  5. Resolution Time
    • Most claims are processed and closed within 15–21 business days, depending on the case complexity and partner carrier involved.
