Key Claim Terms:
- Timeframe to Report
- Claims must be filed within 5 calendar days from the date of delivery or expected delivery (for lost shipments).
- Claims raised beyond this period may not be accepted as per carrier policy.
- Eligibility
- Only the Sender or Receiver can initiate the claim.
- Valid Garudavega tracking number and supporting documents (invoice, photos, damage proof) are required.
- Liability Coverage
- The standard liability is limited to the declared shipment value (excluding duties/taxes).
- We highly recommend third-party insurance for high-value shipments.
- All Fragile Items shipped customers own risk.
- Exclusions
Claims are not accepted in the following cases:- Improper packaging or handling by sender
- Shipment of prohibited/restricted items
- Delays due to customs, force majeure, or incorrect consignee details
- Destroyed by destination customs due to any reason
- Perishable Food items
- Fragile Items
- Claims filed after the deadline
- Resolution Time
